Jazz groups are a popular choice for ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinners, welcome receptions, and microweddings. Jazz band configurations range in size from duo to sextet to match your event size and style. Our most popular ceremony/cocktail configuration is a solo pianist for ceremony performing jazz & pop ballads, and adding on saxophone for a cocktail hour, upgrading to a jazz duet covering r&b, swing, pop, and more.
Jazz for Corporate
We aim to be ‘the thing that everyone is talking about’ after each company party we perform. Jazz is a classy, elegant, upscale sound that suits galas, fundraisers, award ceremonies, conventions, trade shows, and more. The majority of corporate events we perform have a diverse guest list with a wide range of musical tastes. Accordingly, our proprietary setlist combines familiar jazz standards with modern hits from today’s Top 40 - our repertoire ranges from Duke Ellington to Daft Punk. The mixture of horns, brass & woodwinds, with piano, guitar, standup bass, and drums is a timeless sound that elevates any occasion.
Instrumental Funk Band
If you are looking for a fun, funky, groovy atmosphere that encourages dancing but doesn’t mandate it, our instrumental funk configuration is ideal. This facilitates comfortable conversation as well as the opportunity to dance. The smallest group we offer for a groove-based celebration is a quartet, which includes drums to keep the beat alive. With a quintet there are two horns, sax & trumpet, forming a horn section which performs harmonies and energizes crowds. Larger ensembles up to 8-piece combinations are available.
